Descent 6

Peak and his team need to descend into Tibet after surviving an avalanche on the remote and isolated mountain of Hkakabo Razi. The only catch is that Peak’s famous mountaineering father, Josh, and climbing guide, Zopa, are both wanted by the Chinese government. As a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse ensues, making it off the mountain won’t be the end of this team’s struggles, only the beginning…

Heart-pounding action and political drama converge in this epic conclusion to the Peak Marcello’s adventures by bestselling author Roland Smith.

    Hi Roland Smith,

I have read Peak, The Edge, and Ascent, and I am at page 150 of Descent. I read Peak for a survival unit in school, and then decided to read the Edge, Ascent, and Descent, all in the past week or so. I am a big fan of your books, even though I am not a climber or interested in climbing. They have great plots, so I am kind of bummed out about the series being done, but at the same time, I can’t wait to read all your other books. These books have kept me in place for up to an hour, sitting and reading your page-turners. The moment I finished Ascent, I went to the library to get Descent, so I could have it to read after MCAS testing at school the next day. You are a great author!

    Thanks for writing the books!

    Hi Roland Smith,

I finished the series a while ago and loved the ending. I also read Beneath and Above, and those books are also amazing. I love how there is a huge community underground that, although the leader has good intentions and bad intentions, the people live great lives. The two books also have good plot twists, such as the lunar eclipse birth and murder, and Alex being Lod’s brother.

    Thanks for writing the books!
