Winding down here in Frisco, Texas. This morning I was at Scoggins Middle School with librarian Tammy Brightwell and Karen Adolff who nearly won the ‘find Roland an iPad’ contest. The librarians in Frisco know what this means.
This afternoon I was at Roach Middle School with librarian Melanie Rumsey and Kathy Berger.
Good times!
We are so glad you came to Roach! The students and teachers were abuzz on Friday talking about how much they enjoyed your presentation. I’m so sorry we were so short on time. You did a great job squeezing in all of your info, though. You provided valuable insights about writing that I’ve never heard from another author, especially the story boarding idea. Loved it! We enjoyed your visit and hope you will consider come back to visit soon! It was a great end to our “Read it Forward” program, too.
Thanks for inviting me Melanie. You were wonderful.
I so much enjoyed hearing you and now have an interest in oil spills as well as animals that are near extinction; therefore, I look forward to reading your books about such topics. You are amazing with middle schoolers…what a gift you have!
I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any
interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me.
In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made
good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
Thanks!
