I,Q Two Final #34 and “Celebration of Learning.” 2

This was a great event with a couple hundred fabulous young writers and a very large group of proud parents and grandparents sponsered by the Independence, MO IRA. They could not have been nicer.

Signed a lot of books, spoke, then headed east to Warrensburg to pre-sign a few more books for the Children’s Literature Festival.

Dinner with the authors (I’ll give you a list tomorrow), then I rode to the airport with Doug Arth to pick up our bud Terry Trueman who was delayed I’m Chicago.

Marie arrives at the Children’s Lit Festival via Arkansas with daughter Bethany and grandsons #1 and #2.

Oh… I was up at 4AM working on I,Q2, pushing it forward. I will have all morning tomorrow to work on it.

Thank you once again for the incredible presentations for IRA! The kids are still talking about wanting to read your books! Heck with that even the parents (my husband) wants to read your books now!! Woo Hoo!! I love to encourage anyone to read! Thanks again for singing to Micheal– wonderful memory! We feel like we made a new friend! Be careful on your journeys!
