Clinton Middle School
Rap lyrics composed for Roland:

Mr. Smith wrote many books,
He wrote them so we’d take a look.
For the world around us we must care.
Or someday it won’t be there.

He’s an American man,
Oh! An American man,
This world needs a brand new plan.

People want the rainforest for its wealth.
They’re only thinking about themselves.
About the people who live there, they don’t care.
But Mr. Smith does and he’ll make us aware.

He’s an American man,
Oh! An American man,
This world needs a brand new plan.

You can help the world out.
Look at things you see,
See how beautiful they can be.

He’s an American man,
Oh! An American man,
This world needs a brand new plan.
